EHDS is planned to exchange information with a common communication protocol EEHRxF via a gateway from each country, ensuring interoperability.

The two pillars of primary use for medical purposes are MyHealth@EU and secondary use for research, drug discovery, etc., HealthData@EU, and EU is promoting the development of a foundation for the realization of digital medicine in Europe.

This time, at IHE Japan Connectathon 2025, we will hold a workshop in collaboration with Prof. Henrique Martins of ISCTE (Lisbon, Portugal) to share information about EHDS and EEHRxF with engineers in Japan and Asia.
