IHE Workshop in the 10th International HL7 Interoperability Conference 2009

IHE Workshop was held at Kyoto International Conference Center as a program in the 10th International HL7 Interoperability Conference 2009 (IHIC 2009, May 8 and 9) in prior to May 2009 HL7 Working Group Meeting next week at the same place.

This workshop was coordinated by Mr. Charles Parisot (France) of the IHE International Committee together with Mr. Hidenori Shinoda (Japan, JAHIS). Mr. Parisot gave an intensive lecture on the variety of IHE topics ranging from the status quo of the international IHE activity to the usecases of health information exchange including the IHE integration profiles such as XDS, PDI and PIX.

There held a very enthusiastic discussion among the lecturer Mr. Parisot and the audiences about the concepts and the practical knowhow for the successful projects of regional and national health information exchange.
